Isokern achieves superior insulating values in their indoor and outdoor chimneys, firechests and fireplaces. All Isokern products use a relatively new pumice stone. A resource excavated from approximately 2500 year-old mines located near the polar circle. Due to its higher latitude, the aggregate is of finest quality. It is very clean and pure, as compared to volcanic organic materials found in lower latitudes.
